Aims
of the Course
To develop participants' theoretical knowledge of
teaching and so make
them more informed
practitioners.
To develop teachers' practical teaching ability and their
self-analytical
skills to make them more reflective
practitioners.
To raise
teachers' awareness of what they might expect
a Cambridge Diploma
level course and explicitly
prepare them for one
(this is an optional strand).

details
It is a 50 hour input-based course, made up of 30 hours
of input and 20 hours
of reading and homework tasks.
Participants will receive an IHWO Certificate after
completing the course
and the assessed homework
assignments/portfolio.
Participants will be expected to teach a minimum of 3
hours of observed
teaching during the course and do 3 hours of observation
of experienced teachers.
