Teacher Training - IHWO Certificate in Advanced Methodology (IH CAM)

Aims of the Course

To develop participants' theoretical knowledge of teaching and so make them more informed practitioners;

To develop teachers' practical teaching ability and their self-analytical skills to make them more reflective practitioners;

To raise teachers' awareness of what they might expect a Cambridge Diploma level course and explicitly prepare them for one (this is an optional strand).

Other details

It is a 50 hour input-based course, made up of 30 hours of input and 20 hours of reading and homework tasks;

Participants will receive an IHWO Certificate after completing the course and the assessed homework assignments/portfolio.

Participants will be expected to teach a minimum of 3 hours of observed teaching during the course and do three hours of observation of experienced teachers.
